Yeovil College wanted 4 purpose built laboratories within an existing building.
The objectives
Along with our client, Wagstaff Interiors Group, we needed to transform the shell of the existing building into a physics lab, chemistry lab, biology lab, flexible lab and prep store. Each room had to accommodate the teaching requirements and also provide enough storage for all the existing equipment which was housed in the current laboratory spaces.
The process
LiDR worked alongside Wagstaff Interiors Group to assess the brief and generate layout and product drawings for approval. LiDR then supplied and installed all of the bespoke furniture for the project, including perimeter and island benching, bespoke storage, and laboratory fixtures and fittings.
The result
LiDR were able to use our experience and innovation to ensure the client was left with 4 stylish and practical laboratories, each with their own identity.
